Japanese Garden Path

More palette knife painting! 

This was from a photo I took in the Butchart Gardens in Victoria, BC.  It was an overcast day, probably rained a bit because that's what it does on the coast.  That always brings out all the brilliant greens in the landscape.

When I look at this picture I always imagine there's a little sheltered bench just beyond those shrubs, enclosed by greenery on three sides, where a couple people can share a bento lunch and some hot tea and stare out at the peaceful if somewhat damp view beyond.
