I love birds sitting on things. I have a photo of a statue of the former pope with a pigeon on top of its head, and am currently inking a seagull on top of a totem pole.
This seagull was perching on a majestic griffon in Barcelona.

I would take out the "wings" like shape o n the right side of the Gargula's head. It would help to read better.
